Publications
Liverpool Safeguarding Adults Board will publish its strategic plan, annual report and Safeguarding Adults Reviews. The Board will also support adult safeguarding arrangements by publishing policies and guidance.
Our annual reports
The Care Act 2014 requires each Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) to publish an annual report.
The annual report must be sent to:
- the chief executive and leader of the Liverpool City Council which established the SAB
- Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner
- Healthwatch Liverpool
- the chair of the local health and wellbeing board

Safeguarding Adults Reviews
A Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) is a multi-agency review which seeks to determine what relevant agencies and individuals involved could have done differently, that could have prevented serious abuse or neglect or a death from taking place. Find out more about these reviews.
