Liverpool Safeguarding Adults Board will publish its strategic plan, annual report and Safeguarding Adults Reviews. The Board will also support adult safeguarding arrangements by publishing policies and guidance.
Our annual reports
The Care Act 2014 requires each Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) to publish an annual report.
The annual report must be sent to:
- the chief executive and leader of the local authority which established the SAB
- any local policing body that is required to sit on the SAB
- the local Healthwatch organisation
- the chair of the local health and wellbeing board
Our strategic plan
One of the core duties of a Safeguarding Adults Board is to publish its strategic plan.
Safeguarding Adults Reviews
A Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) is a multi-agency review which seeks to determine what relevant agencies and individuals involved could have done differently, that could have prevented serious abuse or neglect or a death from taking place. Find out more about these reviews.
